This month we created a collection of Summer Birds and Flowers Wool Applique Wallhangings..yes, the beginning of a series..keep watching for more in the series, over the next few months. The first panel is charming Goldfinch nestled in beautiful Himalyan Poppies. The second panel is a striking Indigo Bunting with black-eyed Susans and Thistles.
We used rich hand dyed wools to create this timeless wool applique piece. Incorporated into the design is fun embroidery stitches that give the piece and additional layer of visual experience.
