New Pattern Release Cardinals Chattering Wool Applique Wall Hanging

"Cardinals Chattering"
.... is a brand new pattern release..and I am so excited with the final results..I really wanted to look real and I think I achieved it. Found the perfect wool from Weeks Dye Works, I used Merlot houndstooth for the Cardinals and Spruce houndstooth for the pine needles. The tree trunk and branches I used a rich dark and mottled hand dye wool. When I finished this week...we were just getting our first snow fall..oh, snow clinging to the pine branches..but no Cardinals...so at least for now I have my wallhanging.

New Punchneedle Pattern Release " Meadow Wanderings"

A few weeks ago I went out antiquing and found this wonderful ole Dresser Box, it was really grungy. With a little help from my beloved we refinished, distressed it and look at it now! I just love to use milk paint..and add a little stain to give it a wonderful patina.

From the minute I found it I knew I had to convert it to a sewing box. It looked kinda sad when all finished..so I designed my lastest release to be proudly displayed on the top of the box.

"Meadow Wanderings"...

It was created with a combination of Valdani and DMC floss, done in rich dark colors, it has a great antqiue look to it...

This pattern will be offered in many of your favorite shops in the next week or so. Check out the shops listed in my blog to order Meadow Wanderings today.

I am planning to do a complentary Wool Applique Runner to go with it.  Watch in early January 2014 for the release of the pattern
